The indoor hockey season is our most intensive season at Mystx. Due to the smaller sport court type playing surface, indoor hockey is a much faster game. This encourages players to refine their stick skills and overall game knowledge for quick decision making.
Our travel teams train and compete in local tournaments, Junior Premier Indoor League, NIT Qualifiers and NITs between November and March.
Athletes interested in travel hockey are encouraged to register for our Fall Sprouts & Seedlings program which is starting September 11!
Outdoor Travel
TRYOUT ALERT!
2023 Festival Tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday July 26 at the Villanova AstroTurf Field at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, PA
The Club will be taking U14, U16 and U19 teams to the USA FH Festival in Naples, Florida over the Thanksgiving weekend. All selected athletes will participate in six mandatory team trainings Sunday mornings in the Fall and a pre-Festival tournament at United Sports Center the weekend of Nov 11/12.

Mystx offers outdoor travel hockey opportunities during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. These tournaments and practices are a chance for players to gain extra touches for their fall seasons and offer our older players a chance to be seen by college coaches.
These training and tournaments are available to all age groups and have included Junior Premier Outdoor League, Shooting Stars, Disney Showcase, LeadHer, Limelight and various college play days among others.

COMPLETE and WRAPPING up our final Spring Play Dates in June
This program will run for 6 weeks from 5-6:30p at Bryn Athyn College's RK Nelson field on 3/26, 4/2, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30 and 5/7.
Turf Training is open to any dedicated, committed athlete. Mystx travel athletes and players new to the club are grouped by skill and competitive level. If you aren't a current Mystx travel athlete please contact Nicky at [email protected] for placement and approval. Beginners and players newer to the game should register for Academy Training instead.
The fee for this program is $245.
Sprouts & Seedlings
Our Sprouts and Seedlings program was created to introduce the great, fun game of field hockey to youth of any gender in the area. Each weekly session has a skill segment and game play to put those new skills to the test.
Our energetic and passionate coaches instill their knowledge and love for the game while teaching the basic skills and tactics of today’s modern game. We work to create a strong, positive foundation for young players to grow a lifelong desire to play at school, club, college, and adult levels. We further hope our young players' experience will inspire them to try out for our travel programs.

Academy
The Academy was created to offer hockey skill instruction and development of fundamental tactics to athletes in 7th through 10th grades who may not want the cost and time commitment of travel hockey.
Sessions are tailored to the needs of the group and include game play. Each athlete will receive 1 Mystx pinnie per program year.
Academy programs typically last 6 sessions and take place in the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. Athletes from our Academy have gone on to join our Travel Programs!

Which camp is right for me?
New Goalkeeper Summer Camp!! - we have limited sets of loaner goalkeeper equipment for the athlete interested in learning a new position. Athletes will learn the basic skills and have a chance to put them in to practice into drills
Youth GK Summer Camp - limited spots are open to youth goalkeepers with their own gear interested in improving their basic skills and learning more advanced techniques and strategies.
Sprouts & Seedlings (K-6th) - open to all athletes entering K through 6th grade in Fall of 2023. No experience necessary. Older athletes with travel experience should register for the Middle School Camp. Higher level athletes may also be moved to the Middle school camp on site.
Middle School Athletes - open to all athletes entering middle school in Fall of 2023
Junior Varsity Athletes - open to all athletes who are entering High School this Fall and wish to make their junior varsity team or have previous experience playing junior varsity or comparable level. Athletes will be groups by ability and the more advanced players will be moved to the Varsity Athlete group.
Varsity Athletes - open to athletes with consistent varsity experience who want to improve their skills, learn higher level strategies and skills and put them in to play.
